Warrah Boat Mishap: Deputy Governor Of Kebbi Condoles With Emir Of Yauri, Prays For The Bereaved Families

His Excellency, Dr Sama’ila Yombe Dabai mni, the Deputy Governor of Kebbi on Monday commiserated with the Emir of Yauri, HRH Dr Zayyanu Abdullahi over the tragedy that claimed the lives of about 100 people in Warrah, Ngaski local government area of Kebbi state.

The Deputy Governor described the incidence as unfortunate and prayed to Allah to guard against its recurrence.

Dr. Sama’ila Yombe Dabai informed the Emir that he was at the palace to personally commiserate with the Emir and entire Yauri community considering his personality as a member of Yauri family from Zuru Emirate. Saying, the State Governor Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu had officially sympathised and commiserated with the Emir and people of the Emirate shortly after the incidence took place.

The Deputy Governor who was out of the State when the incidence occurred, used the medium to pray for the deceased victims, urged families and relatives to bear the irreparable loss of their loved ones.

While responding, the Emir of Yauri Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu Abdullahi CON, thanked the Deputy Governor for the visit and suggested possible ways on how to tackle such menace.

Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu Abdullahi said, there were breaking of big stones in the river years back which gave way for easier movement of Boat and Canoe, the need for collaboration between the State and HYPADEC among others.
