Deputy Gov Kebbi Commends Gov Bagudu Over Deployment Of Mobile Police Unit In Zuru, Task Yansakai To Collaborate And Fight Insecurity


Following the deployment of mobile police men in Zuru Emirate, Col. Samaila Yombe Dabai mni, fss, psc+, MBA (TAMBARIN ZURU), the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State has commended the State Governor Sen Abubakar Atiku Bagudu over what he described as fulfilment of promise he made to the people of Zuru in an effort to address security challenges in Zuru Emirate.

He described Governor Bagudu as pacesetter for truce not only in Kebbi State but Nigeria at large.

The Deputy Governor however, task local vigilante known as Yansakai to use the opportunity and collaborate with the security in the fight against banditry in the area. He tasked Yansakai to ensure they work in synergy with the security and not to relent by the deployment of mobile police unit who needs support of all to succeed.

Samaila Yombe Dabai said he was impressed by the collaborative effort of the security and yansakai in Yababa and Doka, the border communities around Unashi axis in Danko Wasagu on Monday and described such collaboration as timely and long overdue.

He reiterated his earlier position to condemn in totality the interference by some unscrupulous yansakai into marital, land, debt, royalty cases and harassment of judges or lawyers.

The Deputy Governor, on behalf of people of Zuru Emirate and Kebbi State, use the medium to register support for Governor Bagudu led administration to make Kebbi the most peaceful environment while wishing the Governor well in his endeavours.
