Bagudu greets Muslim Ummah on Eid el Maulud
Maulid an Nabi is a special day to the Muslim Ummah, it is for the remembrance of the Birthday of the Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W).
Full message by His Excellency Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu:
‘On behalf of myself Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and my entire family, kindly accept our compliments and best regards at this season of Ed – EL Maulud. Congratulations on welcoming the Birthday of the Prophet Mohammed (S,A,W) 12 Rabi’ul Auwal 1442 after Hijirah.
Moreover, it is the time to remember his teachings, actions and warnings. And to also celebrate and to be more prayerful. Hopefully, we get the intercession and God’s forgiveness.
My fellow Kebbians! It is also the moment to learn about the beauty, character, kindness, compassion and exalted traits and habits of our beloved prophet Mohammed (May Peace Be Upon Him)’.
Governor Bagudu also commended the people of Kebbi state, particularly the Youths for being law – abiding and peaceful. This according to the Governor is in line with the teachings and sayings of Prophet Mohammed (S,A.W).
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever rejects lawful obedience to the leader and divides the community and dies in this state will have died upon ignorance. Whoever fights under the banner of one who is blind, raging for the sake of tribalism, or calling to tribalism, or supporting tribalism, and is killed in this state will have died upon ignorance. Whoever rebels against my nation, striking the righteous and wicked alike and sparing not even the believers and does not fulfill the pledge of security, then he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him.”
