As Arewa Female Youth Ambassadors Initiative celebrates International Day of Charity, KebbiDailyNews in Birnin Kebbi reports the organization’s plan for vulnerable residents as contained in the statement released by Hanan Isah, its founder.
Read full statement below:
As we forge ahead in creating more inclusive and peaceful societies, charity and kindness are core values to hold on to at this time.
Charity can heal several damages done to vulnerable households and provide succor to those in need especially in the face of this global pandemic. It also advances culture, science and natural heritage.
According to the United Nations, the main focus of charity should result in the eradication of poverty which is ravaging a greater percentage of the world’s population.
At Arewa Female Youth Ambassadors Initiative, we believe we have the ability to transform lives, helping people attend peace and prosperity.
We celebrate this year’s International Day of Charity with everyone affected directly by this pandemic and pray they get better. Our foundation is determined to reach out to 1000 young women in local communities. This will involve the gifting of food stuff and clothes and few cash donations.
Arewa Female Youth Ambassadors Initiative wishes everyone a happy International Day of Charity.
