Gov Abubakar Atiku Bagudu sympathizes with the people of Rugar Gehuru village, Jega
A statement from Aliyu Bandado Argungu, Coordinator/Senior Special Assistant (New Media) to the Governor of Kebbi state indicates the Chief Executive’s readiness to condole, provide great leadership and comfort to the deceased whose relatives suffered from boat mishap in Jega.

With deep symphathy, I write to (on behalf of His Excellency Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu Governor of Kebbi State ) sympathize with the People of Rugar Gehuru village, Jega Local Government, or better still mourners who lost eight (8) of their loved ones in the stream mishap when an overloaded canoe capsized and sank with the ten (10) people on board on 31/08/2020.
According to the villagers, browsing/going through the pages of history, they had never received any top government official not to talk of a governor in their village. They were shocked, stupefied and highly grateful to His Excellency Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
After formal condolence, His Excellency Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, interacted with them, stay in the middle of mourners till night. He prayed with them and offered his personal assistance and promised government support and building of a new mosque.
May Allah received the departed ones and bless them with the Aljannat Fiddausi. Ameen!
