Farmers field day, Interactive Sessions holds in Birnin Kebbi, Argungu on Automation Agriculture

The next three days will be action-packed for Farmers, Agribusiness Entrepreneurs, and Agricultural Investors in Kebbi State as Mr Ifeanyi Menakaya, a Specialist in Automation Agriculture will engage them in a number of activities aimed at promoting Precision, Automation or Smart Agriculture in the State.

Mr Menakaya who arrived Kebbi today was received at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport by Kebbi State FACAN Officials led by Dr Usman Hassan, Mal Hamza Yeldu and Abubakar Kalgo.

While in Kebbi Mr Menakaya get as Representative of Blue Salamader Company ( Manufacturers of Automation Technology Equipment) is expected to attend Products Demonstration and Farmers Field day at Argungu and Birnin Kebbi as well discuss with Relevant Stakeholders on promoting the technology in Kebbi State which is readily available and cost effective.

Various range of products suitable for small, medium and large scale farmlands as well as those catering for large scale Aquaculture, Livestock Range Management and Water Storage can be obtained from the Company powered by Electricity and Solar energy sources.

“The technology we have agreed to push will help the farmers more because they can be moved from using fossil fuel pumps and watering manually to electronic pumps ,which can be controlled automatically thereby making water and chemical application better.” Mr Menakaya concluded..
