Lagos worship centers, schools begin this week

Lagos State Government has announced Friday, August 7 as approved new date for the reopening of worship centres in Lagos

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos also scheduled Tuesday, August 4, for the reopening of schools for graduating classes

According to the statement issued today, restaurants in Lagos will operate eat-in services effective from Friday, August 14.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this known on Saturday, August 1, in an address where he gave updates on the efforts of the state governments on Covid-19 crisis. Sanwo-Olu also announced that schools will be reopened for students in the graduating classes in the state on Monday, August 3.

He added that “this will enable them to prepare for the national and region examinations including West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) administered by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).”
