2019/20 Championship table: final season standings, promotion and relegation
The Championship table on the final day of the 2019/20 Championship season continued to get interesting, up and down the table.
In what looked like a surprised feat, after two years of absence, West Brom have been promoted back to the Premier League.
West Brom joins Leeds United in the top flight next season after a 2-2 draw at home to QPR.
The Slaven Bilic’s side point ensured they got second-place after rivals Brentford lost their chance by losing 2-1 at home to lowly Barnsley.
Analyst said “A win for Brentford would have sent them into the top division for the first time since 1947.”
It is likely that Wigan may be relegated unless their appeal against a points deduction is successful
Charlton have also been relegated after a 4-0 loss at Leeds
