Kebbi begins online learning programme
Kebbi State Government has announced that the e-learning programme introduced by the state government few months ago is still on course to tackle illiteracy and sustain children’s knowledge while at home.
Speaking through the Kebbi State Universal Basic Education Board (KBSUBEB) Executive Secretary, Fatima Abubakar Udulo, in Birnin Kebbi, the government said “parents are to equip their children to properly engage in the e-learning programme despite the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic”.
Fatima, who spoke to journalists yesterday, explained that although the pandemic was yet to end, the administration of Governor Atiku Bagudu involved some teachers to teach pupils and students of both primary and secondary schools through online learning programme.
The Secretary said that the programme, is jointly organised by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of information and Technology, to teach students through electronics devices while at homes.
