….NASSI charges Youth in Kebbi State.
Youth and Women Groups have been urged to avail themselves of opportunities available in the Small and Medium Enterprise Sector to create meaningful engagement and sustainable income.
Speaking today while on facility tour to Technology Incubation Centre TIC Birnin Kebbi, Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Small Scale Industrialists Alh Abubakar Bagudu (Dallatun Kalgo) stated that the NASSI delegation was at the TIC to seek areas of further collaboration on Skills acquisition for SME development in agricultural, environmental and technical innovation sectors in the State.
Alh Abubakar Bagudu maintained that collaboration between the two organizations is key to economic diversification veered towards empowerment, economic growth and sustainable development in the Country.
“TIC provides that enabling environment nurturing industrial start ups, young entrepreneurs and enterprising innovators geared towards attaining meaningful economic heights through value addition and industrialisation” The Vice Chairman stated.
The facility tour is part of NASSI’s strategic plan to revamp the SME Sector in the aftermath of Covid 19 pandemic that has affected the global economy..
The delegation was taken round various Incubation units by Mal Adananu Sani Adamu the Centre Manager
Shoe making, Locust Beans, Organic Fertilizer, Mattresses and Fabrication facilities were inspected by the delegation who strongly appealed to Kebbi State Government, Local Government Councils as well as individuals and Organisations to patronise products from the Centre to serve as encouragement to incubators
