The Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has called on Muslims in the State to be more prayerful and God-fearing as they all welcome the month of Ramadan starting today.
“While I appreciate the patience and resilience of Kebbi people this difficult period of partial lockdown, I enjoin all citizens to be more prayerful” says the Governor.
According to Governor Bagudu, the guidelines given by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Kebbi State’s health policies including the partial lock-down of crowded areas in the state during the Ramadan period will still remain sacrosanct.
He expressed his administration’s resolve to ensure a hitch-free Ramadan and also thanked Muslim clerics in the state for showing leadership during this trying time.
Sen. Bagudu prays the best for everyone during the 30days fasting period.
