Repost: Let’s all be #EachforEqual – Founder, Arewa Female Youth Ambassadors, Hanan Isah

Founder and CEO, Arewa Female Youth Ambassadors Initiative, Nigeria, Amb. Hanan Isah, has called on female youths in the country to embrace the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day Celebration by ensuring its practicality and implementation in all facets of their lives.

Issuing a Press Release made available to KebbiDailyNews yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, Hanan Isah said “We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world.”

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women – while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender equality.

While appreciating women groups for their strategic collaborations and support to young women, Isah said, Gender equality was essential for economies and communities to thrive.

She also called on International Organizations, Governments, and the private sector to ensure female youths inclusion in the piloting of their affairs.
