I spent my Valentine Day with orphans, less-privileged – Award Winning Female DJ Lizny
In an exclusive interview with @KebbiDailyNews, the CEO of DJ Lizny Entertainment and Kebbi’s First Female DJ Elizabeth Onuh, said she celebrated the previous Valentine Day by going round Birnin Kebbi metropolis visiting the Orphans, IDPs, and Almajiri schools, sharing food packs, drinks and gifts items and warning them against the dangers of drug and substance abuse.
“While visiting Almajiri School headed by Mal Abuakar at Go-slow area (behind Forte Oil) & Mal Aliyu School, Haliru Abdu, Near Chief Emeka’s residence, I shared with the young people about Unity, Peace and the need to shun violence”, she said.
At Izala school Makeran Gandu, Onuh who was the Winner of the 2019 Recognition Award for First Female DJ in Kebbi State as well as the 2019 Arewa Queens Award for Best Female DJ in Northern Nigeria, said she decided to call on her friends to “kindly squeeze time out of their busy schedule to join her eat, mingle with and share with these special category of people who are most often forgotten by the society at such times because” according to her, “such act of charity are the real reason for the season and will definitely not go unrewarded by God”
Elizabeth, who goes by the stage name, DJ Lizny, wishes to also use this medium to convey her gratitude to all the individuals and corporate organisations who supported this event.
