First International Conference on Gender Based Violence holds in Kebbi

All is set for the first ever International Conference on Gender Based Violence which will take place in Kebbi.
The curator of the Conference, Amb. Nafisa Zaki, Founder of Zaki’s Gems -one of the leading human capital development organization in Nigeria, gave the statement yesterday through her official media handle.
The 3 days event which is aimed at addressing the effects of gender-based violence, particularly in rural communities in Africa and the world over is slated to hold on the 29th October – 1st November 2019
At the conference, survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), International Experts, Law enforcement agencies, Traditional title holders, Religious leaders will partner and collaborate with Gender specialists and other stakeholders to develop possible optimum solutions to this age-long menace.
According to Zaki, the itinerary of the conference is as follows:
Arrival date 29th October 2019
Day 1: 30th October 2019
Day 2: 31st October 2019
Departure: 01st November 2019
Over 300 delegates from government, civil society organizations, trade unions, and the general public are expected to grace the event.
