“DESPITE NO SIGNIFICANT SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE IN BUDGET ALLOCATION OVER THE YEARS, BUDGET PERFORMANCE MONITORING INDEX GREW FROM 20% TO 80% FROM 2015 TILL DATE”.

Governor Bagudu commended President Muhammadu Buhari for courageously insisting that due processes shouldn’t be sacrificed for convenience during the national convention and primaries was a major signatory mark of quality that differentiated other parties from the All Progressive Congress (APC) party which helped strengthen the bond internally between the party, he said despite what Nigerians deem diminutive achievements, they should be happy with their level of progress as pleasing everybody was a sisyphus task due to the insatiable nature of humans, hence the need to applaud and acknowledge their own achievements in their little way as a means to steam their engine to do more.
On social cohesion, he thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for creating a perfect and peaceful working synergy across governing bodies across the country despite the disparities in ruling parties in the various states respectively, stating that the President was able to implement some programs geared towards social intervention, investments and cohesion which is visible in the improved welfare of the lower strata income earners, the reduced out of school kids amongst others despite the drop in national income.
Citing reference to budget allocation over the years beginning from 1999 where the FG budgeted 9bn dollars due to the oil boom which later rose to 33bn before 2015, but that as at 2014 the performance of the budget was still at 20% and that standing by current budget readings from 2015-date which has seen a budget of about 30bn dollars indicating no significant substantial increase in budget allocation, our budget performance stood at an impressive 80% admitting of array of monumental projects like the development of the 2nd Niger bridge, Lagos- Calabar, Lagos – Ibadan, Kano- Maiduguri rail-lines currently being constructed among other significant infrastructural development happening across the nation was only evident of the visionary and detailed leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, party members, representatives and faithfuls at all levels which has also resulted in the crash of food prices like the recent drop of a 100kg of maize from 12,000 Naira to under 8,000 Naira including Millet and other food stuff geared towards sustained food security for national development is a sign of the good leadership by all party heads.
