Enroll school-aged girls in schools – Dr ZSB to Fulani women

The Kebbi state Myetti Allah Fulani Association women’s wing paid Eid-Al-Adah homage to Dr Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu at the Kebbi government house on 15th August 2019.

In a visit filled with cultural heritage, food, fashion and dance display,the women leader Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed said they were at government house to see their mother and to appreciate everything His Excellency has been doing for Fulani communities in the state.

She said Fulani women are resourceful by nature and will continue to support the government for socio-economic development in the state and country.
Other speakers like Danejo Garso Barti, Yali Oro and Gado Manu from Rugar Bambala of Bagudo Local government gave testimony that the present administration under the leadership Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has constructed Schools, Boreholes, Mosques and resettled nomadic communities in a way no previous government had done.

Dr.Bagudu thanked members of the association for the visit and commended them for living in peace. She used the opportunity to call on them to enroll their school aged girls to school and thank them for the support rendered to Miss Hannan Buhari for her final year university project who made a first class and the Kebbi fulani project has been shown in her exhibitions in the United Kingdom and Dubai.
The women presented cheese, fresh milk and fura to the First Lady.

Other women groups who payed Sallah homage on the same day include wives of former local government chairmen,led by Hajiya Jamila Abubakar Arzika, APC women leaders led by Hajiya Jamila Umar Baba and Coalition of women Associations of Kebbi state led by the Coordinator Hajiya Hauwa’u Suleiman.
