USE YOUR CULTURAL HERITAGE AS A DRIVING TOOL FOR SUSTAINABLE PEACE AND DEVT – GOV. BAGUDU

To mark and celebrate the World’s Day For Cultural Diversity, Dialogue and Development, His Excellency, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu today attended the Kebbi Cultural Day organized by the Hill- Top Creative Arts Foundation in collaboration with Kebbi State Government, themed: ” The Prospects Of Cultural Heritage In Kebbi State In The Promotion Of Sustainable Peace And Development” held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Birnin-Kebbi.

The Governor who was ably represented by his Deputy, Colonel Sama’ila Yombe Dabai (Rtd.) during his speech emphasized on the need to use cultural diversity as a tool to promote peace and sustainable development in the state while charging everyone to respect each others’ culture and also promote their cultural heritage where ever they find themselves in, as one’s culture is a major identifying factor in a world where western culture is fast taking over.
