Remain committed to hardwork – Kebbi State HOS tells Civil Servants

The outgoing Head of Service Abubakar Udu Idris, Kebbi State has charged civil servants to remain committed to hardwork, honesty, loyalty and dedication towards attaining a virile and progressive civil service.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari says the retiring Head of Service gave the advice at a benedictory session with civil servants.

He commended Kebbi State Governor Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for according special recognition to the Civil Servant which led to the release of all entitlements to workers such as prompt payment of salary, leave grant, promotion allowance, pension and gratuity.
Alhaji Abubakar Udu further thanked the governor for not interfering in the posting, appointment or promotion of civil servants, but operated within the civil service rules, whenever his consent was desired on any matter.
He expressed gratitude to all civil servants with whom he worked as well as the organized labour for their cooperation and support which led to his successful tenure as Head of Service.
The retiring Head of Service also enjoined workers to discharge their duties diligently and give maximum support for incumbent administration of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu to enable the government consolidate on its positive transformation of the state.

At the valedictory session some retired permanent secretaries, acting permanent secretaries, directors, friends and well-wishers praised Udu Idris for his commitment, hardworking civil servant, administrator per excellent, champion of human rights and a firm believer in discipline and progress.
The speakers include the two retired Permanent Secretaries Alhaji Sani Ango and Shu’aibu Abdullahi who prayed Allah to guide and protect the outgoing Head of Civil Service in his future endeavor and continuity for the legacy bequeathed.
In a separate remarks, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Animal Health, Husbandry and Fisheries Alhaji Tanko Musa Magaji, Alhaji Garba Hussaini Mungadi of Ministry of Youth and Sports and Dr. Jibril Gwandu were full of joy for his successful retirement and urged those still in the service to uphold the virtues of patriotism and prevalence.
The outgoing Head of Service, Abubakar Udu Idris,mni graduated from Bayero University Kano after which he served as Secretary Council of Chiefs Kebbi State, Director Office of the Secretary to the State Government and worked in various ministries and parastatals as a director, director-general, local government sole administrator, permanent secretary and subsequently appointed head of service by incumbent administration of Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
He is a member of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Study Kuru near Jos.
